FAQs

Professional. Reliable. Cost-effective. It's no wonder we've built up a fantastic reputation during our decade in the rubbish removal business.

If you have any questions, we hope to answer them here. But don't hesitate to call us if there's anything else you'd like to discuss!

Q: Why use JunkClear?

We offer a cost-effective and reliable waste removal and disposal service. We're fully insured, certified and accredited. In short, we know exactly what we're doing, which means we can keep life simple for you, our valued customer. Our friendly, professional team is here to help!

Q: Why use JunkClear instead of a skip?

Skips can be expensive and it can take time for them to be collected. Here at JunkClear, we'll endeavour to collect your waste as soon as possible, arranging a collection day that suits you. No hassle. No stress. We'll just get it done.

Q: How much of the waste collected is recycled?

We avoid landfill wherever possible and around 95% of all the junk we clear is recycled. Protecting the environment is very important to us, and we work hard to improve our green credentials across every aspect of our company.

Q: Can you remove heavy items?

No problem! We use our own fleet of branded vans and also have access to 7.5 tonne lorries with cranes designed to lift heavy waste.

Q: Do you keep records of the junk you clear?

Yes. Under government regulations we must fill out a Waste Transfer Note (WTN) for every job. We file all our records and keep them for at least three years, to ensure we comply with all legal requirements while also offering our customers peace of mind. Hazardous waste has its own paperwork which is also issued by JunkClear.

Q: Do you remove hazardous or dangerous waste?

Yes. We have the relevant licenses to dispose of hazardous waste including asbestos, chemical wastes and solvents, gas bottles and car batteries. Our comprehensive health and safety policy ensures that everything is removed efficiently, safely and with careful attention to detail, to prevent contamination of the wider environment.

Q: How quickly can you get to me?

We aim to respond to any enquiry on the same working day. Once we've quoted for the removal service you require, we can book in a convenient date.

Q: Do you deal with emergencies?

Yes. We have a 24/7 response team, so in the case of an emergency – for example, fly-tipped waste blocking a road or sharps/medical waste dumped in a car park - we will attend without delay. In an emergency, call our Crawley number 01293 538555.

Q: Do you charge for a quote?

No, all our quotes are given free with no obligation whatsoever, using our fair and transparent pricing structure.
